Our Vision

Our Vision

Our Vision

We are building a sustainable future by making direct air capture (DAC) technology accessible, scalable, and impactful. With strong global partnerships and a focus on innovation, DACLab is redefining how carbon removal can work at scale — profitably and practically.

Our Approach

Our Approach

When DACLab entered the DAC space, we began by building and testing existing system designs and sorbents. This gave us firsthand insight into the limits of current technologies. By collaborating with researchers at TU Wien, we re-engineered DAC from the ground up — creating a moving-bed TSA system that delivers breakthrough energy efficiency and scalability.

JOURNEY

Every Milestone Marks A Step Toward Transforming Our Planet’s Future

2021

The Foundation

  • Collaboration launched with TU Wien, sparking a new era of DAC innovation.

  • DACLing V1 prototype developed and tested.

2022

Further Process Engineering

  • DACLing V2 prototype developed and tested.

  • DACLing V3 prototype construction complete.

2023

Company Formation and Breakthrough Process Validated

  • DACLing V3 completes 1000 hours of operation.

  • DACLab Inc. established to commercialize breakthrough DAC solutions.

  • Research Pilot unit deployed in Austria, providing scalable, real-world carbon capture.

2024

Tech Scale Up and Government Grant Awarded

  • Research pilot unit constructed and operational.

  • Awarded $1.3M U.S govt grant with a project development partner to provide Kelvin pod to an e-fuels facility.

2025

World’s First Ready to Ship DAC Product Unveiled

  • Learnings from research pilot translated to first Kelvin Pod

  • Kelvin Pod crosses 1000 hour operations before being shipped to the U.S at an e-fuels site.

2026-2027

Global Scale Up and Supply Chain Set Up

  • U.S and Europe supply chain for parts and adsorbent expanded.

  • 1,000-tonne Kelvin unit planned at sequestration site.

  • 5,000 tone Kelvin unit planned at an e-fuels site.

Future

2030 Vision

  • Deliver carbon removal from atmosphere at <$250/ton

Our Team & Advisors

We are engineers, scientists, and entrepreneurs united by a belief: carbon removal must be both technically and economically scalable. Supported by visionary advisors like Professor Klaus Lackner and Peter Relan, our team is built to deliver impact at scale.
